Working collaboratively with the supervising physician and clinical staff, the FNP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.The FNP provides patient-centered care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses in accordance with Gateway Regional Medical Center policies, clinical guidelines, and Illinois state regulations. The role emphasizes patient education, continuity of care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Specifics:-Position: FNP-Department: Gateway Medical Group-Location: Gateway Regional Medical Center 2100 Madison Ave. Granite City, IL 62040-Position Status: Full-time-Work Schedule: M-F 40hrs per weekEducation Qualifications:Required: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a focus in Family Practice.Certification Qualifications:Required: Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of IllinoisRequired: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certificationRequired: National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) by an accredited certifying body (AANP or ANCC).Required: DEA registration and Illinois Controlled Substance License (CSL) required or ability to obtain prior to start dateKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESDemonstrated clinical competence in the delivery of primary care services to patients across the lifespan.Strong knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, health promotion, and disease prevention.Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and healthcare technology.Company Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentivesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
