Production AssociateOur Client is a contract packer or co-packer, co-packs ready to drink beverage products in aluminum cans ranging from juices, energy drinks, teas and carbonated soda drinks in a wide variety of aluminum can sizes.SummaryThe Production Technician is responsible for performing all tasks associated with beverage production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.Stop or resets machines when malfunctions occur.Troubleshoot and report all deviations from standard parameters.  Work with the team to determine root cause of the problem.Ensure all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.Complete required production paperwork accurately.Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.   QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent experienceMinimum 1+ years of experience in a similar setting at the same company.Basic computer, math and written communication skillsManufacturing experience requiredFood & Beverage manufacturing experience is a highly preferred.Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plusPrior experience with production paperworkTwo professional references required from last two jobs heldCompetitive applicants will have held jobs for at least 2-3 years at a time with good references.Pay: Starting at $21/hrShift: Rotating Schedule 2,2,3 6am-6:30pm (other schedules may be available - call for updated availability)Apply onlineOrCall: 971.371.4028OrSimply come by our office: Monday - Friday 1pm to 4pm12600 SW Crescent Street STE 180, Beaverton, OR 97005PrideStaff Portland is a locally owned and operated equal opportunity Staffing Agency.
