This full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position offers the opportunity to support students across two elementary schools and one middle school within a K-12 educational setting in Cupertino, CA. The role involves working onsite throughout the full school year, providing critical assistance to speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy and supporting student communication development.Key Responsibilities:Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in carrying out therapy plans for students in elementary and middle school grades.Provide direct support services to students at three schools: one site three days per week and two sites one day per week each.Collaborate with educators and families to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.Participate in team meetings and professional development activities related to speech-language pathology in the educational environment.Qualifications and Experience:Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with relevant credentials for California schools.Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably K-12.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in compliance with educational and clinical standards.Flexibility and reliability to work a full-time schedule onsite, typically from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.Location:Cupertino, California within a K-12 school district serving multiple schools.This contract position is available immediately and extends through the full school year, offering a stable, engaging environment for an SLPA dedicated to enhancing student speech and communication skills.
