This role offers the opportunity to oversee a 29-bed unit focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is a collaborative nurse leader with a strong med-surg or telemetry background and a commitment to patient safety, staff development, and quality outcomes.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations including scheduling, patient flow, and roundingSupervise and evaluate clinical staff, conducting performance reviews and development plansParticipate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention initiativesEnsure compliance with all regulatory, hospital, and nursing standardsCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomesMonitor quality metrics, audits, and patient satisfactionAssist with departmental budgeting and resource managementSupport continuous improvement through evidence-based practice and staff educationQualificationsRequired:Active RN license (NH or Compact)1–3 years of recent acute care leadership experience in a Med-Surg or Telemetry unitPreferred:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)Experience managing teams in a 20+ bed acute unitDemonstrated success in quality improvement and staff engagement initiativesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base pay up to $65.20/hrComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with employer match and pension optionsPaid time off, holidays, and extended sick leaveTuition reimbursement and professional development programsRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesIdeal ForExperienced RN leaders seeking to advance into management within a respected, patient-centered hospital environment.
