Overview
Community Director of Sales and Market Development position oversees and directs the sales and marketing efforts for Independent, Assisted, Memory Support and Skilled at the community. Responsible for marketing services to external prospects and key referral sources to expand market share by generating new business and maintaining existing established partnerships. Develop and implement appropriate community relations activities to enhance business development and maintain relationships with existing referral sources for entire community. Works with Executive Director to support community sales and marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform market segmentation, targeting, and positioning for each service line. Makes recommendations regarding service enhancements and new program development. Daily management, supervision, and-direction of the Sales and Marketing department for IL, AL and Skilled. Completion and submittal of marketing and sales reports to the community and home office support. Responsible for meeting community occupancy targets. Respond, advance, engage, and convert leads as appropriate by service and ministry guidelines. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic driven annual sales and marketing plan including weekly, monthly, or quarterly modification as appropriate. Partner with Marketing Home Office for the development and delivery of marketing pieces, collateral, branding materials and strategies to promote the community mission, brand identity and services. Must possess strong management skills to work effectively as a team with operations partners and other functional areasPosition Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or four (4) years' experience as Sales and Marketing Director Three (3) years' experience in Assisted Living and Health Care Marketing and Sales Two (2) years' experience of direct management and supervision Preferred: At least two to five years' experience in a retirement community setting (IL, AL, MC, HC)The Village at Victory Lakes is a proud part of Franciscan Ministries.
