In this pivotal role, you'll not only apply your technical expertise but also shape the future of our businesssecuring high-profile projects, building strong client relationships, and making a lasting impact. If you're passioned for innovation and engineering excellence, we want you on our team Duties & Responsibilities Develop design and analysis of complex underground structures, such as tunnels, caverns, and underground transit systems. Develop and review construction plans, drawings, and specifications for underground structures, and supervise the work of junior and mid-level engineers and technicians. Reviews project deliverables for conformity and quality assurance. Interacts regularly with clients and resolves project-related issues. Monitor construction activities to ensure that they are in compliance with the design plans and specifications and resolve any construction-related issues which might arise during the project. Mentor and train junior engineers to help them develop their skills and expertise in structural engineering for underground structures. Qualifications Familiarity with CSA codes and Canadian engineering standards (PEng license in Ontario required). Professional Engineering registration required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering. Minimum 5 years related experience in technical roles on infrastructure/heavy civil engineering. Underground Construction works experience preferred. Ability in FEM modeling and structural verifications of temporary support of excavation, reinforced concrete, and steelwork. Willingness to travel up to 10% of her/his work time to support projects across North America.
