Lead Home Stager – Phoenix Staging + Design & Staged Above (VA + MD)Full-Time | In-Person | Northern VA, Maryland, DCWe’re expanding and looking for a Lead Home Stager who can take charge, elevate designs, and confidently guide a team through fast-paced staging days. If you thrive under pressure, move with purpose, and love transforming homes into buyer-ready spaces, you’ll fit right in.About the RoleAs our Lead Stager, you are the point person on-site. You will:Make design decisions and create room layoutsDirect the staging team and keep the day flowingStyle homes to photo-ready standardsEnsure quality control and consistency across locationsThe work is hands-on, physical, and creative. You must be comfortable lifting, carrying, climbing stairs, and solving problems quickly.What We Handle (So You Can Focus on Staging)Our backend team and systems support you every step of the way. We handle:Client communication + schedulingInventory management + packing listsLogistics team support for loading/unloadingTransportation of all inventoryBreakdown scheduling + returnsBilling + invoicingMarketing, brand standards, agent relationshipsWarehouse upkeep, repairs, restockingTraining, tools, and updated systemsYou lead the staging.We run the machine behind it.Compensation:$17.45 - $24.67 hourlyResponsibilities:Lead staging crews on-site from start to finishCreate room layouts, select inventory, and make final design decisionsOversee quality, styling, and photo-ready finishing touchesProblem-solve challenges on the spot (stairs, tight timelines, inventory swaps, etc.)Communicate professionally with homeowners, agents, and internal teamsEnsure projects stay on scheduleWork directly with the warehouse to pull, pack, and return inventoryMaintain consistent staging standards across all locationsWhat Makes This Role ChallengingThis isn’t a “sit-back-and-style” design job.You’ll be:Working in multiple locations each weekThinking quickly and leading confidentlyMoving furniture, carrying decor, and climbing stairsMaking design calls in real-time under tight timelinesManaging personalities, expectations, and an ever-changing environmentIf you thrive in motion and love seeing your work instantly come to life, you’ll love it here.Qualifications:Who You AreA strong communicator and natural leaderDetail-driven with a strategic design eyeConfident in making fast decisionsPhysically comfortable with lifting, carrying, and active workdaysPositive, solution-focused, and adaptable3+ years - Experienced in staging or interior design is REQUIREDAbout CompanyWe are a busy, fast-growing staging company with warehouse locations in Northern Virginia and Maryland.
