As a Package Handler you would unload freight from fleet vehicles, accurately sort freight, and load freight in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.
Hours and Wages:
Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-11:00AM Starting wage: $ per hourDuties and Responsibilities:
Unloads each package by hand from fleet vehicles Scans package barcode labels as unloaded for tracking purposes Sorts each package by zip code, city, or state Stacks freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently Washes fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed Performs light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment Performs other duties as assignedExperience and Qualifications:
At least 16 years of age Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouse that can weigh up to 100 lbs. Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animalsBenefits:
