The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.Monday – Friday schedule with flexible hours Occasional weekendsOver 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)8 Paid Holidays401(k) plan with company match up to 7% (first 4% matched at 125%)Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription CoverageFREE Life InsuranceFREE AAA MembershipTuition ReimbursementPaid uniforms, paid training/ASE CertificationsSpacious, clean, well-lighted and safe work environment with state of the art equipmentThe Fleet Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for:This includes but is not limited to: engine repair, gas and diesel, automatic transmission/ transaxle diagnosis and repair, manual transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair, suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis and repair, including ABS/traction control, electrical diagnosis and repair, heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair, engine performance diagnosis and repair.Complete all paperwork, including, repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections, etc., with accuracyVerify repairs are properly completed by re-testing repaired system to ensure proper function and road tests vehicles, as necessary, to identify concerns or validate repair.Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology desirable.6+ years applicable experience as an Automotive Technician.National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification as a “Master Automotive Technician”, or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire. State Safety and Emissions license- as required by state location is preferred.R134A recycling certificate.Ability to pass a physical examination required by the Department of Transportation and must obtain and maintain the certificate for the duration of employment in the positionNational Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) certification required.Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.Satisfactory employment screening results.Full time Associates are offered a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Medical, Dental, and Vision plan optionsUp to 2 weeks Paid parental leave 401k plan with company match up to 7%2+ weeks of PTO within your first yearPaid company holidaysCompany provided volunteer opportunities + 1 volunteer day per yearFree AAA MembershipContinual learning reimbursement up to $5,250 per yearAnd MORE Check out our for more informationACA is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment practices laws.
