The appointment is for one year and begins July 1, 2026. Bowdoin is particularly interested in candidates dedicated to undergraduate teaching. The teaching load is two courses per semester, including a neurophysiology (fall semester) and neuropharmacology (spring semester) lab course, both supported by a lab instructor, and an upper-level seminar course (both semesters). The subfield is open, but we are especially interested in candidates specializing in neurophysiological and neuropharmacological approaches in Neuroscience. A PhD is expected by the date of appointment.
