Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Senior UX/UI Designer – Games for a popular entertainment brand. This is a long-term contract role that is fully remote, with work hours aligned to Pacific Time (PST). This role will help shape the UX and UI/interface art for an exciting adventure game currently in development. There is no application deadline for this role. Senior UX/UI Designer – Games Responsibilities: Support UX and UI art on an adventure game currently in development. Pitch, wireframe, and mock up UX needs as well as contribute to UI art for systems in the game. Collaborate with other designers and craft experts to develop engaging gameplay and systems. Advocate for best practices in UI/UX for narrative games, acting as the subject matter expert on all things UX. Collaborate across studio disciplines to explore, test, and evolve the game. Senior UX/UI Designer – Games Qualifications: 5+ years working in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for games. Experience working with IP and narrative game systems. Experience with cloud platforms like Stadia, Luna, or other non-standard controller systems such as AR, VR, theme parks, or experimental interactive installation work. Working familiarity with Unity, Miro, Figma, Jira, and Confluence (preferred). Experience in motion design and/or animation (preferred). Ability to work autonomously and independently while understanding a larger team ecosystem. Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
