Currently, we are recruiting for adjunct faculty to teach courses in Counseling. Courses will be offered in in-person, hybrid, and/or online modalities. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach graduate level core counseling courses or specific to a counseling specialty.Adhere to the course syllabus requirements.Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.Provide timely feedback and to student emails.Submit midterm and final grades by deadlines.Teach courses as assigned by the Department Chair and maintain University policies.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CORE COUNSELING COURSES:Master's degree in counseling. Preferably a PhD or EdD in counseling from a CACREP graduate program. Ability to successfully pass a background check.Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills and teamwork.At least 2 years of experience at the university level.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for SPECIALTY AREAS:Clinical Mental Health Counseling- Must have an LPC or NCCClinical Rehabilitation Counseling- Must have a CRCSchool Counselor Education- Must have a current school counseling certificate.
