Job#: 2088993 Job Description: Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in IBM Cúram software, Medicaid eligibility, and government IT projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business units and IT, translating business needs into technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Act as a liaison between business programs and IT to deliver technical solutions.Analyze business operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and automation opportunities.Assist in business process redesign and documentation for new technologies.Conduct stakeholder sessions to gather and document business requirements.Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.Facilitate communication between business units and IT from requirements to implementation.Stay informed on technological trends to recommend innovative solutions.Execute requirements development including elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation.Document and analyze business processes and data relationships.Participate in requirements management processes including change control and traceability.Provide interpretation and guidance on requirements to technical and test teams.Identify risks, issues, and propose actionable solutions.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including vendors, government agencies, providers, and beneficiaries.Support buy vs. build decision-making processes.Research and maintain business rules, requirements, and models in a repository.Perform other project-related duties as assigned.Required Skills & Qualifications:1+ years of experience with IBM Cúram software.1+ years of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or similar role.1+ years of experience eliciting and documenting business rules and processes.2+ years of experience in Medicaid Eligibility or other healthcare insurance domains.Exceptional written and oral communication skills; strong proficiency in English.Proven ability to gather requirements through interviews and policy analysis.Knowledge of formal business process documentation and modeling techniques.Proficiency with graphical process flow software.Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with State and Federal government agencies.Familiarity with requirements repositories and version control systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
