The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in DeWitt that are seeking skilled Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, process deviations, and equipment malfunctions. Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs, P&IDs, and work instructions. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma. Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems. Provide process engineering support for new product introductions from pilot to full-scale production. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 2+ years of experience in process optimization and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with process simulation software, data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and CAD. Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Demonstrated ability to identify bottlenecks, analyze data, and implement solutions for process improvement and cost reduction. Familiarity with industry safety standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
