Position Overview:

As a Coach Weld Equipment Operator, you will play a crucialrole in our manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently operatingequipment involved in the installation and maintenance of bogies on RailVehicles

What your day will look like:

Efficiently load long assemblies, crates, andbundles onto flat cars or truck trailers following proper procedures. Operate Straddle Carrier equipment to move longitems from one location to another. Assemble components and sub-assemblies accordingto engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills ofmaterials, and instructions, complete required documentation. Safely use hand and power tools, withcertifications for cranes, forklifts, etc. Provide training and work direction onloading/unloading methods, ensuring safety and proper use of PPE. Collaborate with team members, coordinateactivities, and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow and safetyadherence.

What we are looking for:

High school education, GED, or equivalentcombination of education and experience. 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly,forklift operation, and/or similar machine equipment operation. Proven experience operating heavy machinery andequipment, preferably in a manufacturing or transportation setting. Ability to read and interpret technicaldrawings, diagrams, and instructions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment tomaintaining high standards of quality and safety. Excellent problem-solving skills and the abilityto work effectively under pressure.

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The starting hourlyrange for this position is $20.00 plus 10% shift differential for second shiftand 20% shift differential for third shift. The role is eligible for overtime and shift differential pay forcertain work schedules. The salary may be higher or lower depending on yourexperience and skills.
