Regal Heights Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Looking for a PER DIEM Physical Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Queens, NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefit package. Job Responsibilities: Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Follow all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA. Adhere to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times. Provide documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate. Regularly discuss with supervising Physical Therapist patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed. Ensure safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary. Requirements include: Valid NY professional license Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities New graduates are welcome
