Job Title: Mammography Technologist Location: RWJUH Hamilton Hospital Department Name: Radiology-Mammography Req #: 0000216927 Status: Hourly Shift: Day Pay Range: $52.79 - $52.79 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of detail, such as: Diagnostic/Screening mammography procedures; localizations; and stereotactic biopsies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED Completion of an approved Radiological Technology Program that meets the requirements set by the ASRT and the New Jersey Certification Board Minimum one year experience Certifications and Licenses Required: Must be licensed by the New Jersey State-DEP and registered by the ARRT (RT, R) (M) Scheduling Requirements: Day shift Per Diem Essential Functions: Orders supplies as needed for the department Printing reports and schedules for the following day Produces diagnostic procedures in an efficient and cost-effective manner Consistently reviews scripts and orders with all pertinent and correct information Other duties as assigned Choosing RWJBarnabas Health RWJBarnabas Health is the premier healthcare destination providing patient-centered, high-quality academic medicine in a compassionate and equitable manner, while delivering a best-in-class work experience to every member of the team.
