Speech Language Pathologist in Orland Park, IL

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Orland Park, IL, serving students from PreK through 8th grade. This contract role will cover the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year and requires onsite presence.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade.Assess, diagnose, and create individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student communication needs.Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress.Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with standards and regulations.Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.Qualifications:Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.Experience working in school settings with a range of student ages, preferably PreK-8.Strong evaluation and intervention skills for speech and language disorders.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based therapy.Location:Onsite role based in Orland Park, Illinois.Benefits and Perks:Competitive hourly rate of $55 to $65.Access to health, dental, and vision insurance options.401(k) retirement plan availability.This contract position offers a valuable opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children with speech and language needs during the school year.
