Your challengeThe Chemical Additive Technician is responsible for the receipt, preparation, and release of chemical additive solutions and their components. The role is responsible for the inventory of Production materials associated with chemical additive use, including  • Prepare chemical additive solutions for Production • Complete QC testing for prepared chemical additives • Release of prepared chemical additive solutions to Production (testing, review, and SAP) • Perform IGI for applicable materials and release chemicals for use. • Perform routine inventory (e.g., raw materials, prepared additive solutions, various solution containers, lab supplies, etc) for team and maintain inventory in SAP & cycle count including stock of consumable production equipment (tubing, filters, etc.) and supplies for manufacturing • Preparation of equipment for manufacturing according to valid TP’s and SOP’s as required. (canisters, chemical bottles, chemical filters, air filters, chemical tubing, etc.). • Operation and maintenance of lab washers, ovens, and autoclaves, including vendor interactions • Inspect and release sterilized production equipment.  • Monitoring and maintenance of facility water system • Accurate, concurrent, and complete documentation of impacted test results and activities according to internal and regulatory guidelines • Cleaning and sanitation of laboratory area • Perform SAP transactions to hold product. • Perform various system suitability as necessary • Training of new and current Chemical Additive Technicians as designated • Other duties as assigned. Your Profile Job Requirements: • High school education or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. • Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or regulated industry is preferred • Beginner-level knowledge with basic statistic and calculations; proficient knowledge in applicable chemical calculations preferred • Beginner-level MS office skills, communication & data management computer skills, as well as CAQ (Computer Aided Quality) inspections systems • Basic understanding of computer systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, and instrument dedicated). • Beginner-level experience with laboratory testing equipment, instrumentation, and analysis; experience with GBO-specific equipment including Kruss flame photometer preferred Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.  • Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 70 lbs.  • Must have appropriate vision to perform detailed quality inspection as outlined in SOPs and TPs.
