Financial Systems Analyst

This role combines business systems analysis, financial analysis and reporting to support solutions and serve as an intermediary between IT and the business. Helping Our People ThriveSteelcase offers competitive wages and benefits, to support your life in and out of workLearning is the foundation of everything we do, and there is no shortage of development opportunities to grow and upskillCulture is a lifestyle at Steelcase and we live it every dayOpportunity to make an impact on the world through Steelcase’s commitment to people and planetSupporting Meaningful WorkContribute to the digital transformation of finance by supporting the migration to SAP S/4 HANA.Collaborate with IT to configure system settings and develop specifications that meet financial requirements.Create and maintain custom reports to support the needs of the finance organization.Provide technical guidance and support to users of financial systems across global teams.Analyze and optimize financial systems to improve performance and efficiency.Support operations finance reporting and ensure accurate data integration across platforms.Apply knowledge of accounting principles to assess system configurations and their financial impact.Minimum QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience working with financial systemsProficiency with finance-specific software, including data analysis and automation toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of finance, accounting, business operations, and financial software systemsUndergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information SystemsQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience evaluating, implementing, and optimizing finance and accounting systemsProficiency in SAP (S/4 HANA strongly preferred)Familiarity with SQL or other query toolsExperience with BW and Tableau reportingUnderstanding of system configuration and its impact on financial processesCertifications such as CMA, MBA, or CPA, or other evidence of technical competenceDoing better for people and planetSteelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
