This Job is for a most challenging, complex, high volume and large scale project having all possible AWS services+Integrations involved, CI/CD pipeline creation and management, CDK development, Cloud application development, deployment across number of AWS regions, Tools development for monitoring and operational excellence.Key job responsibilitiesThe Engineer in this job is expected to make the design (High level and Low level), own end to end (depth) for specific set of features while having breadth on rest of the features and provide technical guidance for the Junior members in the team.A day in the life1. Feature development2. Peer Code and design review3. Interact with internal and external stakeholders (Dev and QA) on clarifying the requirements, resolving the dependencies etc.4. Oncall rotationAbout the teamTeam is working on a most business critical, high visibility, large scale & high device volume project involving embedded development (Device side), Cloud development (AWS services, API, CDK, Pipelines, Container management) etc.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence- 2+ years of Amazon experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offeringsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- 3+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based technologies and services experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
