Day.Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN to work in our Outpatient (Retail) Pharmacy department. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products.Duties include but are not limited to:Medication filling.Direct customer contact – answering phones, operating the register.Working directly with healthcare providers.Inventory management and prescription entry.Insurance processing.Experience/Qualifications *Willing to trainKnowledge of organizational and project management practices is normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Customer service skills and experience are beneficial.Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy, and computers beneficial.National Pharmacy Technician Certification is beneficial.Hours: Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period.
