  Well estiblished, Reputable, Busy Oral Surgery Pracice is looking for an energetic,back office surgical asistant to be a vibrant part of our dynamic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Team located in  the Glendale area (Arrowhead). qualified candidates should have current CPR Certification, and be competent with taking impressions. OMAAP or DAANCE certification is a plus.  We are seeking an exceptional candidate who is able to adapt at handling multiple tasks within a fast paced work environment.  Someone who provides personalize diplomatic and exceptional care and customer service to, not only our patients, but their co-workers and other visitors to our practice. Must be highly motivated and a TEAM player. Job Type:  Full-time benefits:   Monday to Friday -Some Saturdays (normally once a month)Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:Providing great patient and family care at all timesMaking sure all the surgical equipment is maintained and cleanedKeeping track of surgical supply and medication inventory and ordering more if neededSterilizing and preparing surgical instruments, materials, and equipment before surgeryHelping the surgeon with operatory set up, clean up, and anesthesia administrationMonitoring patient's vital signs before a surgeryInforming patients about oral health care and treatment plansOperating 3D scanning and X-Ray equipment and developing radiographsPreparing and monitoring patient charts, updating their records, and recording treatment plansAdministrative tasks such as booking appointments, filing, and chartingOral Surgeon Dental Assistant Requirements:Certification for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery AssistantPrevious dental assisting experience is preferredIn-depth knowledge of surgical instruments, materials, and equipmentGreat understanding of chairside responsibilities and surgical techniques as well as health and safety guidesSolid administrative skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsSuperb organizational skillsWilling to learn new skills for the comprehensive Medical/Surgical care of both healthy and medically compromised patients
