Your internship will provide you with hands-on experience in implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and fostering a secure environment for everyone involved.We are hiring interns for travel positions and project based as well as regionally based. We have regional offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Des Moines, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Seattle. Our compensation range for interns is: $20-$22/hour. During your internship, you'll have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to:Safety Inspections: Assist in conducting regular safety inspections on construction sites, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.Risk Assessment: Learn to assess potential risks associated with various construction activities and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.Safety Training: Participate in safety training sessions and workshops, helping to educate workers on proper procedures, equipment usage, and emergency protocols.Incident Response: Gain exposure to responding to on-site incidents, participating in investigations, and contributing to the development of corrective and preventive measures.Safety Policies: Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures that align with industry standards and company values.Safety Culture: Collaborate with teams to promote a strong safety culture, engaging in campaigns, initiatives, and communication efforts to raise awareness and accountability.Documentation: Help maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and documentation related to safety compliance.Safety Audits: Learn to conduct safety audits to evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and identify areas for improvement.Safety Technology: Gain insights into the use of safety-related technologies and tools, contributing to the adoption of innovative safety solutions.Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing learning about safety regulations, industry trends, and emerging practices to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.Safety Leadership & Communication Skills: Learn from experienced safety professionals the interpersonal skills needed to project effective leadership on complex projects under demanding timelines.
