Pay Rate: $17.00/hourMedical Assistant: As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesInterview patients and document basic medical historyOrganize and schedule appointmentsPerform minor Clia waived laboratory servicesAssist during medical examinationsProduce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsClinical Administrative Assistance as well, check in/check outPrepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instrumentsSkillsProven working experience as a medical assistantPerform basic clinical skills such as: EKG, PFT, Vitals, Phlebotomy, InjectionsKnowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficiency in MS Office and patient management softwareDegree or Certification in Medical AssistanceProficiency in Electronic Health Record (Athena Proficiency a bonus)Phlebotomy SkillsAthena EHR PI64cc84926a1c-30511-37912405
