This role ensures quality care for residents, manages financial documentation, and maintains compliance with funding sources. It requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to service. Key Responsibilities:Serve as backup to the Property Manager when neededRespond to emergency calls and conduct resident wellness checksCommunicate resident concerns to the ManagerAssist with budgeting and expense codingVerify and submit expenditures for approvalProcess certifications and annual recertifications for tenantsMaintain accurate and organized resident filesComplete monthly accounting reports and TRACS submissionsResolve TRACS errors promptlyManage security deposit reimbursements and documentationCollect rent and fees; submit deposit recordsMonitor and reorder office suppliesAssist with maintenance work orders and billingPerform receptionist duties: answer phones, distribute mail, etc.Support quality improvement projects based on resident feedbackEnsure staff compliance with HR policies and proceduresFollow HUD and CRSS policiesPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience:Associate degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferredBookkeeping or accounting background preferredCertification (or ability to be certified) by Quadel or similar agency requiredExperience in apartment management preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Skills & Attributes:Compassionate, detail-oriented, and organizedStrong communication skills with seniors, families, and agenciesAble to manage sensitive financial matters professionallyComfortable handling resident and family requests with careBasic math and recordkeeping skills Working Relationships:Collaborate daily with Service Coordinators, Health Promotion Nurse, and Resident AssistantsEngage with residents on confidential financial mattersMaintain open communication with the Property ManagerWork as part of a cohesive teamMeet deadlines and stay compliant with all regulations Accountabilities:Serve residents of the buildingManage two annual budgets (operations and activities)Oversee office, maintenance, and volunteers in Manager’s absenceHandle daily financial transactions and reporting Cardinal Ritter Senior Services does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its federally assisted programs and activities.
