TS clearance is nice to have.As a Network Analyst - Performance Engineer, your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our organization and you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology to improve infrastructure. This computer science position requires onsite presence to maintain the integrity and security of sensitive operations. WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?As a Network Analyst - Performance Engineer, you will take charge of maintaining and optimizing infrastructure. Your day will include monitoring traffic to ensure peak performance, identifying any bottlenecks, and ensuring the health of all physical devices. You will collaborate with government customers and end-users to define key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance, and develop test plans to validate infrastructure performance. By working with your team, you will help troubleshoot complex issues, provide detailed reports and recommendations for improvements, and configure monitoring systems tailored to meet customer needs. WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A NETWORK ANALYST - PERFORMANCE ENGINEER?We're looking for someone who can work full-time while meeting the following qualifications:Qualifications:5+ years of experience with networking technologies, specifically switches, routers, and resolving complex LAN/WAN issuesBachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field OR equivalent combination of education, professional training, or experienceActive Security+ CE Certification (or higher) with one or more of the following active network certifications: Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENTActive Secret Clearance, with Top-Secret Clearance (preferred)Technical Skills:Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or AristaExperience with TACACS, Radius (ACS/ISE)Knowledge of SNMP, Syslog, ACLs, VLAN, Routing, and SwitchingNetwork issue resolution skillsExperience with network monitoring tools such as NetScout, InfoVista, etc., to isolate issuesAbility to assess and optimize network performanceAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teamsTake the next step in your computer science career and apply today With our easy-to-complete initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application, you could be on your way to joining our client in just a few clicks.
