OT (Autism-Focused) Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated OT (Occupational Therapist) with an interest in autism to become part of our interdisciplinary team. Our mission is to create a network of clinics that deliver transformative, life-enhancing services to children with autism and their families. Emphasizing early intervention, comprehensive support, and developmentally appropriate learning, we aim to meet the unique needs of each child and family. Our focus is on providing integrated care tailored to the specific requirements of young children with autism. Role Overview: As an OT at Soar, you will: Implement naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 years in a center-based setting, with a focus on autismCraft interventions aimed at improving gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding practices, and daily living activities tailored to the needs of children with autismPerform multidisciplinary assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical areas (ABA, speech therapy, psychology), including co-treatments with speech therapistsMentor and guide a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to integrate OT goals into their therapy, enhancing their approach to autism careMonitor the progress of clients, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate necessary adjustments to team members and familiesCollaborate closely with families of children with autism, setting goals, building relationships, sharing progress, and providing coaching and support on their journey Qualifications: A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar fieldCurrent licensure as a Occupational TherapistExperience in working with children with autism or related developmental disordersStrong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approachesExcellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism What You'll Get Quality medical ($0 deductible), dental, and vision plansA company 401K with company contribution after a year of service11 company holidays plus 15 additional days offOptions for 4x10 or 5x8 work schedules for full time OTsA Time for You program to take extra time off work when you need itShort-term disability for all staff covered by SoarStudent loan reimbursement assistanceReceive trainings and continuing education, and work with national experts in occupational therapyReal multidisciplinary collaboration with a team of other autism care professionals.
