The Staff Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for supervising and participating in the application of a variety of speech and cognitive therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients. Work is full time during weekdays. Work is performed at the clinic with some work occasionally at the residential site or in the community. Work can either be full time during weekdays, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, Part Time, PRN or seasonal employment. Actively interviewing Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and or RPE licenses. With traumatic brain injury, life changes in an instant. Treatment activities may include, but are not limited to, the Cognition Module, Attention Module, Auditory Rehabilitation Module, Echoic Store, Iconic Store, orientation, passive breathing, thermal stimulation, etc.Performs reporting procedures. Consults with patients, families and therapists from various clinic disciplines to instruct, advise or inform them of procedures and tests.Requirements:Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required. Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association required. Current licensure or eligible to practice professional Speech Pathology in California. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are arrived at each unique case.
