Now we just need you As an IT Service Desk Specialist Intern on the Information Technology Team, you will be a frontline hero providing first contact for team members experiencing any technology issues. What you’ll be doing... Identify and diagnose user issues related to hardware, software and network connectivity. Utilize technical knowledge and tools to locate and resolve root cause of technology issues. Collaborate with other teams to onboard new team members globally. Perform preventative maintenance to prevent potential issues. Provide overall smooth operation of technology throughout IDeaS. Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals. What you’ll bring to us… Current enrollment in an accredited degree program (Sophomore or Junior status) The ability to listen and understand team members clearly. Be able to communicate sometimes complex, technical concepts to team members in a way that is easy for them to understand. Have a solid understanding of basic IT concepts and common troubleshooting techniques. Be able to think critically and solve problems in a timely manner. A professional, patient and courteous demeanor Ideally, our intern will be available to work up to 40 hours per week in the position during the summer, with the potential to start in Spring working 10 - 15 hours during the school year.
