You will help government agencies use technology to solve important problems. You understand the unique challenges faced by government agencies and can address them with Salesforce PSS. Your role involves working with customers through discovery, technical and solution design, and applying best practices and platform knowledge to client solutions.You will lead pursuits by defining the solution, architecture, writing proposals, and assisting with customer demonstrations, while collaborating with our industry selling team. You will develop expertise in the Public Sector Solutions product and work with both non-technical and technical resources to optimize its use. You impact the way Salesforce teams at Slalom manage engagements and provide transformational delivery leadership across our global portfolio of clients. You play an important role in creating meaningful work for our consultants.Responsibilities: Support Public Sector Solutions pursuits and delivery as a subject matter expert for all Salesforce projects globallyLead the customer and Slalom’s delivery team with Public Sector Solutions best practices, solutions, re-usable assets, and product featuresCollaborates to translate business requirements into solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and PSS productProvides functional and technical product support to configurators and developersAssists in developing level of effort estimates for proposed solutions and articulates the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionalityContributes to sales efforts by helping design functional solutions for our clientsStays updated with new Public Sector Solutions product and functional capabilities as well as refining best practicesParticipates in marketing events (e.g., conferences, industry events, sales meetings)Demonstrates thought leadership through publishing, public speaking, and client presentationsSupports the development of junior technical and functional team members and help build the PSS practiceAssists in interviewing candidates65% target utilizationWillingness to travel up to 50% Qualifications:5-8 years of Salesforce experience3-5 years of Public Sector industry experienceExperience with Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio, or with Salesforce’s Industry Clouds is a mustStrong client-facing written and oral communication skillsExperience with Salesforce project delivery, with a preference towards consulting experienceInterest in the public sector and technologyActive Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hireExperience in sales and pre-sales solutioningHands-on configuration experience and development is requiredExperience with Public Sector State & Local customers is a plusAI Literacy and Judgment: Understands generative AI and LLMs, applying sound judgment in their use, while ensuring data privacy and compliance. AI-Assisted Design and Content Creation: Uses AI tools for exploring solutions and drafting artifacts, maintaining accuracy through human review and oversight. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and salary ranges:East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:Senior Principal: $190,000-$235,000San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester:Senior Principal: $174,000-$216,000All other locations:Senior Principal: $159,000-$198,000In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
