POSITION SUMMARYThe Dishwasher is responsible for delivering clean and sanitized plateware and glassware to our guests. This position is critical to our guests overall experience as the Dishwasher must ensure the plateware and glassware are clean and stocked for our guests to have a memorable experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEssential Functions Statement(s)Maintain proper grooming and uniform standardsAssemble dish machine and pot sinks to prepare for washing dishes, glassware, pots and pansChange water in the dish machine at a minimum every two hours, or earlier if necessary, and replace with fresh water to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitizedEnsure proper water temperature constantlyClean all dishes properly using the dish machine or washing by handCheck all dishes after cleaning to ensure 100% cleanlinessSort clean silverwareOrganize the dish area for efficient use of spaceSweep and mop floors throughout the entire dish area and back of house to maintain a clean environmentCarry boxes and trash from the kitchen to the dumpster mainlining cleanliness throughout restaurantDemonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all timesPerform all opening, running, and closing duties accuratelyPerform any job function requested by the management teamPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSCompetency Statement(s)Adaptability & Flexibility – Adapts to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities and works with a variety of situations, individuals, groups, and varying customer needsAttention to Detail – Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasksCommunication – Listens to others and communicates in an effective mannerConfidence – A matured and justified self-belief in one’s ability to do the job, and the conveyance of that behalfInitiative – Recognizes situations that warrant initiative and moves forward without hesitation; reasonably resolves issues, problems, or situationsProblem Solving – Resolves difficult or complicated challengesTeamwork – Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverablesThoroughness – Ensures that work is complete and accurate Requirements SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation: High School; able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in EnglishExperience: N/AComputer Skills: N/ACertificates & Licenses: N/AOther Requirements: N/A
