Home Instead is hiring immediately for part time and full time caring and compassionate CAREGivers and CNA's to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services in the West side of Salt Lake Valley that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. If you live in Tooele County, we also provide services there. CAREGiver employment benefits:Competitive pay to start between $15.00 - $16.00 an hourShifts on weekends pay an extra dollar an hourFlexible scheduleFull-time and part-time openingsFull-time and part-time medical benefits that include health insurance, dental, vision, and telehealthMileage reimbursementHourly pay during time in between shiftsUp to 40 hours a year of Paid Time OffEarly access to wages before time of paycheckDirect depositContinuing training coursesAssistance and discount in obtaining CNA license if desiredCAREGiver duties include, but are not limited to:Companionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparationMedication and appointment remindersAssistance with grooming and bathingAssistance with toileting and incontinence issuesAlzheimer’s Care*No previous experience necessary but preferred - skills training provided by Home Instead*Requirements to be a CAREGiver:Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respectAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerComplete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screenPossess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insuranceCurrent TB test results within 15 days of hireMust be at least 18 years of ageHours are flexible and we have both full and part-time shifts available.
