Floor Coverings International of Monterey is looking for a Design Associate / Outside Sales Consultant to join our growing team You’ll bring the showroom to the customer’s home, helping them choose flooring that fits their style, budget, and lifestyle — all while building relationships that last. This is a high-energy, consultative sales role for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives on independence, and wants to be part of a supportive, family-oriented company. What You’ll Do: Meet clients in their homes to understand their vision and guide them through flooring options. Use your design sense and product knowledge to create beautiful, functional solutions. Own the process from consultation to installation, ensuring every detail is handled with care. Build and nurture long-term customer relationships and referral networks. Use our proven, tech-driven sales system (tablet/laptop) to stay organized and deliver results.
