AAK strives to bring providers into our team that carry the same passion we doResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain positive, therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, supporting them in their journey toward achieving personal milestones.Oversee programming of child to maintain data in the program book and graphingAdhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain child confidentialityImplement individualized behavior intervention plans focusing on development and social engagementConduct Functional Behavior Assessment (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Work closely with patients and/or caregivers, clinical experts and other service providers as neededWork with team to increase skill acquisition while decreasing interfering behaviorsParticipate in ongoing professional developmentRequirementsDirect ABA training preferred in either Nassau County Tier 1 and/or 2 examsSuffolk County Module 1 and/or 2 examsBA/MA/MS and New York State certification in any one of the following areas:Special Education Permanent CertificateStudents with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)Teacher of the Deaf/VisionReliable transportation, driver's license, car insuranceProficiency with computers and electronic billing systemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent time management, punctuality, and readiness to workBenefitsWork for a company with over 30 years of experience in the fieldFlexible schedule - build a caseload that works for youMedical BenefitsDental & Vision BenefitsElectronic OnboardingMonthly trainings to ensure providers get their professional development.
