Regional Operations Manager – Wound CareReports To: Regional Clinical ManagerOn Site in Houston, TXPosition Overview:The Regional Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations at partnered facilities, ensuring clinical documentation and workflows are being completed in accordance with company standards, and supporting seamless service delivery across locations. The role includes routine onsite visits to assess operational needs, confirm referrals and progress notes are completed, and ensure frontline teams are supported.This individual will also play a lead role in launching new facility accounts—coordinating setup, supply ordering, and go-live support. Approximately 30% of the role involves external marketing responsibilities, including relationship-building and promoting services to new and existing partners.This position directly supports the mission of Dr. MobiCare by fostering operational excellence, facility satisfaction, and business growth across wound care service locations.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.Facility Oversight & Workflow ManagementConduct routine site visits to partnered facilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Confirm that referrals, progress notes, and other clinical documentation are completed accurately and on time.Identify and resolve operational gaps in communication, staffing, or clinical processes.Complete an end-of-day checklist detailing: locations visited, contacts met, observations made, and actions taken.Liaise with facility staff to ensure expectations are met and escalate concerns as needed.New Facility Launch SupportOversee the successful launch of new facility accounts.Ensure all required equipment, medical supplies, and marketing materials are ordered and delivered.Provide onsite guidance during setup to ensure workflows are established and functional.Coordinate with internal departments (Clinical Services, Scheduling, IT, etc.) to ensure readiness for service delivery.Marketing & Relationship ManagementRepresent Dr. MobiCare in external meetings and promote services to potential partner facilities.Maintain ongoing relationships with administrators, Directors of Nursing, and other stakeholders.Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.Participate in events, walkthroughs, or in-services to support marketing and outreach efforts.Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all visits, interactions, and operational updates.Track outcomes from facility launches and marketing activities.Provide regular reports to the Regional Clinical Manager on facility health, trends, and performance gaps.Recommend improvements to workflows, policies, or operational tools.Qualification Guidelines:Experience/Training/Education – Required:Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, facility management, or clinical oversight.Strong understanding of clinical documentation and workflow processes.Experience in client-facing or account management roles.Comfortable working independently in a field-based setting.Experience/Training/Education – Desirable:Familiarity with wound care, SNFs, ALFs, or LTAC environments.Experience launching new healthcare programs or services.Marketing or business development experience in a healthcare setting.Knowledge of EMRs such as WoundExpert, PointClickCare, or equivalent.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.Technologically proficient; adept in Microsoft Office and mobile-based documentation.Understanding of HIPAA and compliance best practices.Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company with credibility.Physical Demands:Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear.Frequent travel between sites throughout the assigned region.Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion.Work Environment:This is a field-based role involving regular travel to facilities.Moderate noise level consistent with clinical and office settings.Frequent use of laptop, phone, EMR platforms, and standard office/medical equipment.Potential exposure to confidential patient information; adherence to privacy standards required.
