SummaryThe Procurement Specialist provides administrative and organizational assistance, research and support to the Supply Chain Department and Supply Chain Procurement Team. The functions of the Procurement Specialists include the clerical support for all clinical and non-clinical purchases, directly to the vendors, and/or sourced via LeeSar, Inc. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.RequirementsEducational Requirements Required:High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred:Associates DegreeAdditional Requirements:In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 3 years, in healthcare procurement can be substituted.Experience Preferred:2 Year Healthcare ProcurementAdditional:State of Florida Licensure Requirements Required:noneAdditional Requirements:noneCertifications/Registration Requirements Required:Preferred:Additional Requirements:Other Requirements:Experience in GEAC and/or InforExceptional problem-solving skillsExcellent Analytical skillsExperience of medical suppliers and their offerings of productsUnderstanding of product utilization in a variety of clinical settingsAbility to effectively operate in EXCEL and other Microsoft Office ProductsKnowledge of EPIC EMR and EDI systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong knowledge and ability to leverage current and future technologyAbility to successfully operate in a multi-task environmentExtreme attention to detailGreat organizational skillsAbility to successfully manage multiple priorities and/or deadlines
