Audiology Services

The Audiologist will:

 Selecting, fitting, and dispensing of hearing aids and other hearing assistive devices.  Providing care to patients of all age groups from pediatrics up to and including geriatrics.  Communicate and work closely with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals.  Participate in clinical education programs and departmental program development in assigned areas.  Practice in accordance with professional code of ethics and New Jersey State Practice Act.

Requirements:

A Master's degree or Doctorate Degree, graduate of an entry level master's or doctorate program in Audiology from a college or university accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology (CAA). Requires a current New Jersey State license and registration in Audiology or eligibility. * 2+ years of experience strongly preferred * Ability to complete Vestibular Nystagmography testing and Auditory Brainstem Response testing strongly preferred Requires analytic ability, use of independent judgment and sufficient interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with patients, families, students, peers and other health care professionals. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is preferred but not required
