Senior Principal Applications Engineer

Oracle is looking for a Senior Principal Applications Engineer to join our IGIU Smart Construction Platform team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, who has experience designing and implementing multiple complex distributed cloud services from start to finish. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, with a successful track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:Architect, develop and maintain Smart Construction Platform Architect, Develop and maintain shared services that are used by multiple product teams Devise and implement solutions that allow the system to scale better Present the proposed architecture with Department heads Document technical knowledge in Confluence and present to peers and other engineers Mentor engineers Review code developed by other engineers Ensure compliance with development methodology and technical process What you've done:
6+ years of experience designing Enterprise Cloud Services 8+ years of Java development and design experience and communicating technical, business, and design information. 6+ years of JEE development experience and at least one of the popular JEE Application Servers 6+ years of microservices development experience and microservices frameworks (Helidon, Micronaut, Spring Boot, etc) 6+ years of experience with Web-tier development technologies such as Spring, JPA. 8+ years of Linux/UNIX and SQL experience 6+ years of experience with writing unit tests using JUnit 6+ years of experience working with Kafka or similar technologies 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology and Scrum is a plus. US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
