As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job responsibilitiesArchitect, deploy, and manages Gaia Kubernetes clusters for production-scale container orchestration, ensuring high availability and fault toleranceDevelops and maintains CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Jules, integrating automated testing, security scans, and quality gatesImplements continuous delivery workflows in Spinnaker for blue/green and canary deploymentsWrites reusable automation scripts and shared libraries in Groovy to streamline build and release processesDesigns, provisions, and operates cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Author and maintains Terraform modules to enforce infrastructure as code best practices and enable repeatable, versioned deploymentsCollaborates with software development, QA, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps practices across the software development lifecycleMonitors system performance and reliability using industry-standard tools; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecksCoaches and mentors junior engineers, conduct architecture and code reviews, and evangelize DevOps cultureRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExpertise with Gaia Kubernetes platform internals, operators, and ecosystem toolsAdvanced scripting in Groovy (Jenkins shared libraries)Deep experience building pipelines in Jenkins and JulesProven track record implementing Spinnaker for safe, automated deploymentsStrong AWS skillset: compute, container services, networking, IAMExtensive Terraform usage at scale (module development, state management, CI integration)Strategic thinker with strong problem solving skillsPassion for continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAWS Certification - Associate or ProfessionalBackground in monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
