Apply today Job Responsibilities Manage the functions of the Human Resources OfficeCarry out policies related to phases of the Company and Human ResourcesRecruit, interview and select applicants to fill vacant positionsOnboard new hires by completing all necessary paperwork and processesMaintain coworkers’ records in accordance with Company and government guidelines for reporting purposesPlan and conduct new coworker orientation and other types of training classes to foster positive attitudes and improve associate retentionResponsible for promoting, initiating, and maintaining all facets of benefits, compensation, and performance appraisal review programResponsible for timekeeping and payroll proceduresHandle all employee relations concerns with guidance from Corporate officeAssume Senior Staff responsibilities Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree, preferredPrior retail sales management experience2 to 4 years Human Resources Generalist experience preferred.Creative problem solving and confidentiality skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to learn HR computer systems and other store systemsAvailable to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekendsBenefits At Boscov’s, we value our employees, and that’s why we provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.
