Day trips in the Greater Buffalo, NY area. ResponsibilitiesTest construction materials such as soils and concrete for quality assurance on commercial sitesRead construction drawings and specifications and correctly interpret test resultsComplete each testing assignment accurately and in accordance with appropriate standardsRecord and report test results in a clear, concise mannerCommunicate regularly with direct supervisor to provide updates on project detailsComplete continuing education and preparation for additional certifications through the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and International Code Council (ICC)QualificationsHS DiplomaAssociate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering / technology, geology, or related is ideal although not necessaryAbility to obtain certifications through American Concrete Institute (ACI) and International Code Council (ICC) with full support from CMEFamiliarity with construction materials, procedures, and documents a plusMust possess and maintain a valid driver's licenseCompensation: $20 - 25/hourBenefitsCME offers competitive wages and benefits such as: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Health Savings Account, Supplemental Insurance Products, and Paid Time Off (including Holiday, Vacation, Sick and Personal) for full time employees. This is an Equal Employment Opportunity.
