Job Description: The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We especially welcome applications from scholars who have research interests in health, social, or cultural psychology, or any combination of those three areas. Research foci that span areas and capitalize on the unique placement of UTEP on the .-Mexico border will be given special consideration. The anticipated appointment start date is Fall of 2026. Requirements: A . in Psychology by the time of appointment; published research; potential to attract external funding; and the ability to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. We seek candidates who show the potential to develop their independent research program and extend existing expertise in the department.
