The Masood Entrepreneurship Centre (MEC) is the focal point for enterprise and entrepreneurship programmes for students, recent graduates and staff delivered across the University through on-curricular teaching and co-curricular activities. The core mission of MEC is to deliver "Entrepreneurship for All" – to make entrepreneurship education accessible to all, across all subjects and at all levels, to develop entrepreneurial capacities and mind-sets in our students, staff and recent graduates. Established in 2000, the Centre is one of the UK's leaders in the area of practitioner-based, applied enterprise education. Building upon our sustained track-record of growth and innovation, we have ambitious plans and aspirations for the future – to make entrepreneurship work for every student regardless of discipline, profession or career trajectory.
Post holder responsibilities:
Reporting to the Enterprise Business Development Executive, the role will provide support for an annual programme of workshops, keynote talks, competitions, bootcamps and accelerator style learning to encourage and inspire more people to turn their business ideas into reality.
A key focus will be supporting the Venture Further Awards (VFA) and Eli and Britt Harari Graphene Enterprise Awards, MEC's largest startup competitions for UoM students and recent graduates.
Daily activities will include administrative support, marketing and promotion to specific target groups across the campus, organisation of events, workshop and enterprise training support/delivery, data collection and other related activities to further develop and embed a culture of enterprise and innovation at the University of Manchester.

Interviews: Wed 2 April
Interviews will last approximately 45 minutes and there will be a separate 30 minute task-based exercise.
