Franklin Health & Rehabilitation Center in Rocky Mountis recruiting for a Maintenance Director for a 120 bed skilled nursing center.The Maintenance Director maintains preventive maintenance schedules using Building Engines, Electronic facility Management system. Repairs physical structures, maintains utility systems of building, and maintains grounds. Supervises support staff and contractors as applicable. Installs, services, and repairs mechanical equipment.Education: High School Diploma or GEDLicensure: Valid driver’s licenseExperience and/or Pre-requisitesTwo years’ experience in Maintenance in a commercial setting, Healthcare experience preferred.Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair the above systems.Must be CFC certified in refrigeration Type I minimum within 6 months of hire date.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read and write.Ability to accept and exhibit the responsibility to make sound management decisions.Ability to work flexible hours and report to work within 20 minutes for urgent situations.Ability to communicate effectively with all staff, patients, families and visitors.Has ability to communicate, comprehend, understand and write messages, and follow directions.Basic computer skills such as e-mail, electronic order entry, Building Engines, etc.We offer a competitive rate of pay and a comprehensive benefits package for full time associates which include affordable health and dental insurance within 60-90 days of hire, paid time off, extra pay for holidays, and a 401k with company match.Working for MFA at a LifeWorks Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center is no ordinary career.
