Lab Technician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Technician specializing in General Chemistry to join our team in Wheat Ridge, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of test results.Perform chemical analyses and experiments following established protocols and proceduresOperate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionalityPrepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testingConduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test resultsRecord and analyze data, preparing detailed reports on findingsMaintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety regulationsAssist in the development and optimization of analytical methodsCollaborate with other team members on research projects and experimentsManage inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals, placing orders as neededStay updated on current trends and advancements in general chemistry techniquesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field1-3 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory settingProficiency in using various laboratory equipment and techniquesStrong knowledge of chemical safety protocols and regulationsExperience with data analysis and report writingExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsStrong problem-solving skills and analytical thinkingGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyFamiliarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plusLab safety certification is preferredIn-depth understanding of general chemistry principles and practicesThe position pays $22.50/hour, is eligible for overtime, and qualifies for the EHS Conventional Step Up program.
