Job Title : Customer Service Specialist Location : 557 NE Westbrook Way, Grants Pass, OR 97526 (Onsite) Duration : 2 Months contract (with possible extensions) Payrate : $20/hr on W2. About the Role As a Customer Service Specialist for Nassau OOGP Vision Group, you will represent our company by delivering exceptional service and support to our customers. You ll handle customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure satisfaction through professional communication, accuracy, and a customer-first attitude. Primary Responsibilities Follow established processes to meet or exceed Customer Care Standards for every interaction. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Develop strong knowledge of the company s product portfolio, promotions, and procedures. Demonstrate 100% follow-through on commitments to achieve one-call resolution. Communicate additional promotions and services effectively to customers. Process customer orders courteously and accurately, with minimal errors. Document customer complaints and concerns immediately and work toward satisfactory resolutions. Communicate effectively with Customer Service Supervisors and Managers, providing regular updates on customer needs and issue status. Attend and participate in regular team meetings and training sessions. Participate in ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Specific Duties Answer inbound customer calls, emails, and chats in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Process customer orders efficiently and accurately. Respond to customer inquiries, providing information or directing them to appropriate departments. Identify customer questions or complaints and provide effective, professional solutions. Follow up on customer concerns to ensure resolution and satisfaction. Engage with customers using active listening and empathy to build rapport and trust. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure overall product and service satisfaction. Performance Goals Quality Assurance: 90% rating on calls, emails, and chat interactions. Productivity: Minimum 8 transactions per hour (6 for chat). Accessibility: 85% availability, minimizing unnecessary offline time. Answered Interactions: 99% of incoming interactions answered. Attendance: Full compliance with attendance policy. Development & Training: Timely completion of all assigned training and action steps. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate s degree preferred). Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM; proficient in 10-key by touch. Strong written and verbal communication skills across phone, email, and chat channels. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and empathy in customer interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems. Prior experience in customer service or call center roles preferred.
