The experienced technician will work with the trainee to help teach the process of a quality glass repair. This position comes with most tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to use during the workday.This is a full-time opportunity that works during the 8:00 am – 4:30 pm time frame, Monday through Friday. The Auto Glass Technician Trainee will report to the Glass Manager and pay will commensurate with the chosen candidate's experience.Essential Job FunctionsAssist senior glass technicians in the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and back glass.Learn to safely handle and prepare glass, adhesives, and tools in accordance with company and industry safety standards.Support the setup and cleanup of work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.Observe and participate in vehicle inspections to identify glass damage and determine repair or replacement needs.Provided top-notch customer service to all customers.Maintain a safe and satisfactory driving record according to company policy.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
