Job DetailsDivision: Nucor Steel Sedalia, LLC Location: Sedalia, MO, United States  Other Available Locations: N/ABasic Job Functions: Nucor Steel Sedalia is seeking a leader committed to taking care of our customers. The successful candidate will be a safety-minded, goal-oriented, cost and quality-driven applicant. Responsibilities of the District Sales manager may include but are not limited to: Providing industry leading service by growing relationship with key customers Finding new strategic sales opportunities Submitting accurate forecasts and orders from customers while proactively solving problems Coordinating support functions across production, metallurgy, shipping and finance department within the organization to help maximize Nucor's profitability by expanding our customer base Required extensive travel and face-to-face interaction with all customers Currently, territory will cover Minnesota, Iowa, and Northern Missouri. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Detailed Selection Criteria: Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects Proven team player with excellent communication skills Motivated self starter with exceptional organizational and time management skills Demonstrated high levels of integrity, initiative, and courage Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to accurately read and report market conditions Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment and positively manage ambiguity Absolute dedication to Taking Care of our Customers Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree AND demonstrated sales experience in an industrial field including experience with customer service, resolving customer concerns, and overall customer satisfaction. OR a minimum of 3 years sales experience in an industrial field Must be willing to relocate within specific sales region.
