Our toddler program helps children build independence, curiosity, and a love for learning through exploration, hands-on activities, and play-based learning. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a toddler classroom in alignment with developmental milestones. Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive development. Foster a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment that supports exploration and creativity. Communicate regularly with families about daily activities and milestones. Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain classroom quality and compliance with NYC childcare standards. Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred. CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education required. Minimum 6 months of classroom teaching experience (1+ year preferred). Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Must meet all NYC DOHMH childcare licensing requirements.
